The plots are 0n an unmade road in the foothills of the Sierra de Almagro mountains in peace,tranqillity and with wonderful views.They are located between the Historic and bustling town of Huercal Overa (15 mins) and Pulpi,a good-sized town 10 minutes drive away in Murcia Province  on the way to the beach  and offering shops,bars and restaurants,Wednesday market and railway station with connections to Aguilas,Lorca,Murcia and beyond.

Huercal Overa  is very much an up and coming town with a multitude of shops including internet cafes,chemists,doctors surgeries and a superb modern hospital.There is a Monday market,sports centre,tennis courts,swimming pool,stables,childrens parks and play areas.There are schools,a football stadium and bus station.There are many restaurants and bars,cinema and a new theatre and discos.Infact everything you would expect from a large town.

More locally are the villages of El Saltador and San Francisco with four bar/restaurants,mini supermarket and bakers.There are also schools,church,doctors surgery and parks.

The new Centro Hipico del Almanzora horse riding stables is just 5 minutes away between Pulpi and Guazamara and has a very good bar and restaurant.

There are stunning walks all around attaining fantastic views from the tops of the surrounding hills.

San Juan de los Terreros is 20 minutes drive and has many sandy beaches,an impressive maritime walk,beach bars and restaurants and a discotheque and a castle.

The lively seaside towns of Mojacar,Garrucha and Vera are about 30-40 minutes drive.

There are many golf courses in the district including Mundo Aguilon(15minutes),Mojacar Marina de la Torres,Valle del Este,Cortijo Grande,Desert Springs and Lorca Golf Resort all within 40 minutes.

The Costa de Almeria in Southern Spain offers well over 300 days of sunshine each year (more than any other province in Spain and indeed the rest of Europe) together with the warmest winters making it an ideal environment in which to live at all times of the year.

The province of Almeria also offers many and various facilities including great sandy beaches,beautiful countryside ideal for lovers of wildlife and ramblers.Walks will take you  through a variety of terrain including green mountain ranges and arid desert landscapes.

There are a multitude of historic Spanish towns and villages,offering golf,water parks,karting,markets and shops,cinemas,bowling alleys and discos.In the surrounding countryside you can expect to find horse riding,walking,birdwatching and even 4×4 off road driving.

The Mini-Hollywood Cowboy theme park and zoo where many of the “Spaghetti” western films including “A Fist Full of Dollars) were shot is just a drive away.

The plots are very close to the border with Murcia Province so the historic cities of Lorca and Murcia (offering superb shopping) and the seaside town of Aguilas are just a short drive.

In 2004 we renovated a ruin just 0.5 mile from the plots(pictured below).This house is now available for holiday letting for 300 euros per week.It sleeps 6/8 and is set in 15 acres of land.
